AFEW combine the Asics Gel-Lyte III with the Wabi-Sabi philosophy. This Gel-Lyte III OG is called "Beauty of Imperfection" and features the typical shape, a premium beige leather upper, "Tiger Stripes" that are indicated on the inside and come in a "Wear Away" look on the outside – out of the box in green, but the color changes to pink when worn – as well as a purple heel made of textile and leather. Also included are a subtle heel clip, the signature Split Tongue, Asics and AFEW logo details on the heel and last but not least a sole including Asics Gel cushioning.
