After producing a lot of shoes for more than 100 years, the iconic Clarks Originals Desert Boot appeared on the market in the 1950s, followed by yet another milestone in 1967: Clarks Originals negotiated a deal with the German shoe company Sioux to purchase, produce and sell their shoe called the 'Grasshopper' outside of Germany. After a quick name change, the world-famous 'Wallabee' was born, whose fans famously include the Wu-Tang clan. Meanwhile, of course, thanks to the long history and the many, timeless classics, Clarks Originals is the largest city shoe manufacturer in the world.
