Everything starts in 1973 with Iso E Super. A synthetic aroma molecule that does not exist in nature. Created in a laboratory, it remains relatively unknown until perfumer Geza Schön becomes aware of it. After completing his training, the Berliner worked all over the world, but in 2001 he quit his job at H&R in Paris, moved to London and became self-employed. For several years he worked together with Brian Kirkby and Zowie Broach from Boudicca and helped, among other things, with the production of their fragrance "Wode". In 2006 he returned to Berlin and founded Escentric Molecules.
The Escentric Molecules fragrances all contain a high portion of Iso E Super and are divided into "Molecule" and "Escentric". The difference: The "Molecule" series consists of fragrances that are dedicated to only one fragrance note, "Escentric" are multi-layered fragrances with top, heart and base notes. Both Escentric Molecules perfumes appear in different versions and with a proper amount of "Iso E Super".
