Basic Art Series: Breuer

TASCHEN has been running the Basic Art Series since 1985 with a passion for art and architecture. Part of the series is also this volume "Breuer", which describes the works of Marcel Breuer. He is considered one of the most important architects and designers of modernism. The Bauhaus graduate and lecturer became known for his tubular steel chairs and was considered a master of his craft even before his influential career as an architect. Breuer's architectural works extend over these 96 pages, from detached houses to large-scale projects such as university buildings.
