This Vans x Parra Old Skool 36 is the result of a collab between Vans and Dutch artist Piet Parra. It reimagines the classic Old Skool silhouette with Parra’s signature wavy suede paneling, turning the sneaker into wearable art. The upper is made from high-quality suede in rich colors: a bold blue on the toe box and eye stay forms the base, layered with Parra’s typical pink in flowing patterns around the ankle. Contrasting side panels in deep black and a burnt orange heel panel add extra accents, giving the silhouette depth and movement. Instead of the traditional side stripe, Parra uses layered, curved motifs that give the Old Skool 36 a unique, sculptural presence.
